Making use of our woodland trails, vegetable and flower gardens, animal barn, extensive green space, and the farm at the Huntsburg Campus, our program offers students their choice of a wide variety of classes and activities, all run by our experienced and loving staff of Montessori teachers.
We are the only summer program in the area to offer:
- An enriched, high-quality program for children aged 12 months - 12 years
- Professional, experienced teachers, many of whom are Montessori-certified
- A very low student to teacher ratio
- A program that offers opportunities to experience the arts and sciences in and out of doors
- Spanish language classes
- Use of the campus in Geauga County; one of the nation's premier Montessori farm schools - for elementary aged students
Hershey offers a summer program for children ages 12 months - 6 years where the days are filled with fun and enriching summer activities. Our children to immerse themselves in their natural surroundings, taking hikes through the woods and making frequent visits to the pond. This is all in addition to our weekly focus programs outlined below.
The Elementary Summer Program (for students entering grades one through seven in the fall) in one of the finest summer programs in the area. We offer visual arts, natural sciences, drama, sports and academic classes in small group settings and place an emphasis on being outside. Once a week, students take the Hershey school bus to our incredible farm-school and go on additional outings to some of the area's finest cultural, educational and recreational activities.

Program for Twelve - Thirty Six Month Olds
Early Start and Late Dismissal space is limited to first come, first serve, available to current YCC children ONLY.
Program for Three - Six Year Olds
The Primary Camp offers multiple program options over an eight-week period. Weekly themes include, but are not limited to: Drama, Photography, Gardening, and A Trip Around the World. Spanish language class is included. Children can be signed up for the entire program or for week-long sessions. We spend time celebrating nature and all that our wonderful Concord Campus has to offer.
Program for Six - Twelve Year Olds
Elementary Camp focuses on arts, sciences, nature and collaborative games. Opportunities for a wide variety of classes and activities including Spanish language classes will be offered. We will also spend time at our incredible Huntsburg campus and will go on outings to enjoy some of the area's finest cultural and educational offerings.
