A Culture of Giving
The broader Hershey community of parents, staff, board members, grandparents, alumni and friends all participate in our culture of giving.
Through adult giving, the importance of giving is reinforced to children, and the school is able to provide the highest quality
education at a reasonable rate.
We ask every family to participate in the three annual fundraising efforts of the school, at whatever level they feel is
meaningful and comfortable for them.
Fall Fundraiser
Families purchase and collect orders from neighbors, family and friends for high-quality products with 50% of the sales going to Hershey from three companies:
- Equal Exchange fair-traded coffee, chocolate, tea and snacks
- Dutch Mill Bulbs flower bulbs
- Innisbrook wrapping paper and gifts
Products arrive and are distributed in time for the holiday season in November. Anyone can purchase products year-round from
Innisbrook (enter our number 110334), with the same 50% profit coming back to Hershey.
Annual Giving Campaign
Annual giving covers a large part of the 7% gap left after tuition, and is the most important fundraising effort as a result! Hershey
Montessori School remains committed to keeping tuition at the most affordable rate possible, so that all families who wish to
attend the school can.
From November through June, we strive for 100% participation from our families, staff and board members. Full participation aids in
campaign success and shows foundations and grant-makers that our community whole-heartedly believes in, and supports, the mission and
values of the school.
Grandparents, relatives, alumni and friends of the school also lend their generous support to make this campaign a success each year.
Every donation makes a difference and is sincerely appreciated.

Annual Spring Benefit
A silent and live auction, dinner and entertainment make up this event known which is known to be the most fantastic adult event of the school year to benefit the
children! This grand endeavor requires a team of organizing parent volunteers and the participation of all families at some level to make this a fun and successful event.

Other programs that support Hershey
Box Tops for Education
Collect "box top" labels from various General Mills products and send them into the office. You may also shop at participating stores. Hershey receives cash from General Mills for redeemed box tops. See participating brands and stores.

For those of you with Target charge cards, visit Target.com/tcoe or call 1-800-316-6142 to designate Hershey Montessori School as your school of choice, then use your REDcard whenever you shop. When you use your REDcardSM (Target® Visa® Credit Card, Target Credit CardSM or Target Check CardSM), Target will donate up to 1% of your purchases to our school!
Heinen's
As a member of Heinen's Tasteful Rewards™ program, when you shop at Heinen's, you can help Hershey Montessori School through their ABC School Donation Program. Up to 1% of your qualified purchases during September through April will be donated by Heinen's to our school. The ABC School Donation Program is a Tasteful Rewards™ membership benefit. Visit your local Heinen's store to join the rewards program.
Giant Eagle
Every time you shop Giant Eagle, you can benefit all the programs of Hershey! Just register your Giant Eagle Advantage Card with the Apples for Students
Program at 1-800-474-4777, select Hershey Montessori School (school code #2344), and each time you shop, Hershey receives award points
used toward technology devices, classroom supplies and materials that can benefit every area of the school.
This benefit program is in addition to the other programs Giant Eagle offers such as FuelPerks, etc. You can register up to
five schools on your card, which evenly splits your reward points amongst those schools. The process only takes a couple of minutes with the automated
phone line, so tell all your friends and relatives to register Hershey Montessori School on their cards as well!
