After Montessori
PROGRAMS
The Montessori approach was developed for children with two primary goals: to nurture independence coupled with adaptability, and to instill a desire to cultivate a more peaceful world.
Montessori education achieves these goals: adaptability, independence in both thinking and managing one's life, and a powerful dedication to the future of humanity. These are qualities typically seen in a young person who has grown up in a Montessori environment.

Leaders are Developed
Students in a Montessori environment learn to be resourceful and to find the information they need when they need it. They solve problems by collaborating with others. They learn to speak their opinions and to listen openly to the views of others. They comfortably work side by side with people of all ages. They are, in general, dedicated citizens of their communities.

Personal Paths are Found
Because Hershey Montessori students are encouraged to develop their unique talents and interests, graduates go on to pursue a wide variety of passions and career interests. Our alumni are engaged in pursuits such as medical research, photography, accounting, real estate, law, financial investment, education, computer technology and health care.

Former students return to express gratitude and enthusiasm for life. Their pursuits are as varied and diverse as their individual development has been. They have the confidence and ability to be true to themselves, their families, friends and the world that surrounds them.
